French Connection

Today I got the French Connection catalogue in the mail and I liked what I saw. My favorite was the coats and jackets they had. This white biker jacket is lovely. The fact that it is not black is really refreshing and somehow works with the design.
This would be perfect to wear to a party. I'm going to need to find a cheap knockoff.
It's a leather jacket...need I say more?
This jacket is darling! How wonderfully cheerful and bright, especially this time of year.
I can tell just by looking at it that this jacket will flatter almost anyone. It's great.

I'm Shivering

It is so freakin' cold. Yesterday we celebrated my mom's birthday and we had our first snow of the winter. It had all melted away by the evening leaving us with FREEZING weather. If the whole week is like this I don't think I have enough heavy sweaters to last me. Here are some pictures of sweaters from Revolve Clothing. Maybe it will help me warm up.

Personal Shopper

Today I went to the square with a friend of mine and helped him find some new "duds." We went to Urban Outfitters and he tried on the jacket and the jeans above. They looked really good together but he only bought the jacket. We also went in to Lush, which has the most amazing scented products and in such vibrant colors. I am in love with their lotion that's in a bar form and that you can just rub onto your skin. I had just been there last week and the sales person recognized me. Maybe I've been going to the square too often...

The 80's

I have to confess my love of movies from the 80's; especially classics such as Pretty in Pink (above). I probably wouldn't dress as Molly Ringwald's character does, but I love her spunk. And who doesn't love Duckie? What a cool guy:
I would love to know a guy with the guts to dress like that. The random pieces of the outfit somehow manage to work together.
And the sunglasses. What's up daddy-o?

I need this...

I NEED an oversized scarf for this winter. Preferably in black. It would be the perfect thing to wrap myself in before braving the cold. Luckily the weather hasn't been that bad, but soon it will be. I've been trying to find a knitting pattern to make my own. Anyone have one?

Teen Vogue Love

This spread really fed into my vintage obsession. The off-white tulle is making me swoon...
I have wanted these jewelled headbands for about a year now. I was thinking that maybe I could make some on my own.
How cool would it be to dress up like this for prom? (Cotton candy included) I am actually considering finding a retro pair of sneakers to wear with my prom dress, but we'll see.

Weekend Update

I just realized that I had some pictures on my camera from this previous week that I wanted to share. Above is an adorable purse that I found at a great vintage store near me. It's so cute and looks brand new except for a bit of dust.
This is a dress that I tried on at a boutique that I went to on the same day I bought the purse. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it's a really cute dress and the flower is made up of tiny,circular metal discs.

I found this little number at Macy's for an excellent price. I thought is was so cheerful, especially during the winter season.
