Wow. It has been a lot longer than I thought since my last post. I've been super busy with work as a camp counselor and I come home exhausted every night. I've been living in Forever 21 t-shirts and shorts. So comfortable.
Lately I've been thinking a lot about leggings, and I would love to find me some patterned leggings to wear. Here are some leggings that I particularly like. This time I organized everything by style. I hope this helps:

Summer is Here

I'm finally done. Finals are over and I can relax now. The sad part is that it's only been one full day of summer and I'm already bored. I need to find something to do. I went with some friends to the square. Wore these shoes that used to belong to my mom. My first reaction was that these shoes looked like they were from colonial times, but I kind of love them.

Here are some summer clothes I picked up at Forever 21:

WARNING: These shorts started to fall apart the first time I wore them. Normally I would return clothing if that happens but I loved the look of these shorts so much that I just decided to keep them and sew them up myself.
I really loved the draping of this tank, and it's so easy to throw on.

I also picked up a lotion bar from Lush. I go into the store all of the time but this is the first time I actually bought something. I'm in love.

Let's Go to the Beach....

Even though I still have LOADS of work to do, I can't help dreaming about the summer. It's so close, yet feels so far away.
I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem but I have a hard time finding a decent one-piece bathing suit. I find one-pieces to be more flattering for my body, but I can't find one that I like and in my price range. It seems like no one makes cute one-piece swimsuits. I mostly find mono-kinis, or the swimsuits have giant holes cut out on the sides. This kind of defeats the purpose of getting a one piece for me, since I'll feel just as exposed.

I'm back

Right now I am in the middle of prepping for my finals, so this is going to be brief. I just wanted to take a small break from studying and update the blog for once.

Here's a wishlist of mine. I plan on finding and buying some, if not all that's here.

1. Lace tights (I know, it's summer and the trends starting to wear down but I can't get them out of my head.)
2. Floral bustier (two great things put together.)
3. Snake bracelet (I found one I really liked in this little jewelry store but I didn't buy it. Now I'm wishing I had.)
4. A loose fitting, printed/vintage looking jumpsuit
5. A chic black jumpsuit. (A tie at the waist is a must.)
6. Dark red lipstick (I'll be going to Sephora for this.)
7. YSL black gloss pur (I've been thinking about it since I saw it on Garbage Dress.)

Cut it off

I've always dealt with my unruly curly hair, and the best thing I ever did for it was when I got it cut shorter and layered last year. Now my hair is at my shoulders. Even so, I've always wondered how my hair would look even shorter. It's hard to tell how curly hair is going to act on any given day, but maybe a short hairstyle wouldn't be so bad. These girls can pull it off:


Hmm...not many options out there that work for me. Maybe I'll just stick with how my hair is now.

Toga

I was looking at Feathers Fashion today and every piece that I liked seemed to be by the label Toga. The clothes were absolutely fabulous. If only they were a little more reasonably priced...

I think this design is genius. It's hard to tell from the picture, but this is a tailored jacket with sheer panels at the shoulders. I'm in love with this idea.

On the website, this piece is described as a paneled bustier dress. I love the segmented look that this dress has, and think that it gives the typical bustier dress a modern twist.
